Ring Container Technologies is proud to support the Wolf River Conservancy (WRC), which was established in 1985 as a nonprofit local land trust to protect lands along the Wolf River, a vital public natural resource.

Land trusts work with landowners and the community to conserve land by accepting donations of land, purchasing land, negotiating private, voluntary conservation agreements on land, and stewarding conserved land for generations to come. WRC goes above and beyond the traditional roles of a land trust by also educating youth and the public, engaging the community through the Wolf River Greenway, and providing guided paddle trips that allow people to explore the area’s natural beauty and better understand its importance as a natural resource.

In 2015, the Wolf River Conservancy entered into a partnership with Ring Container Technologies with an announcement of a $500,000 Ring Challenge Grant. This donation helped WRC purchase land around the Wolf River and has allowed them to protect hundreds of additional wetlands in the Wolf River corridor.

Ring Container Technologies has continued to serve as a proud supporter of WRC in keeping with our desire to promote healthy living for our employees and the surrounding communities. At Ring, we put our design spirit to work every day, continually improving on our environmental footprint and innovating container technology to help our customers do the same. Our proprietary technologies reduce food waste, minimize material and energy usage, and are fully recyclable. Ring also actively advocates for responsible packaging legislation, so that our environment and our industry can continue to thrive. As such, we are honored to be a benefactor of the Wolf River Conservancy.
