With summer in full swing, more people are enjoying outdoor activities. A great way to become more active this season is to visit or volunteer at the Wolf River Conservancy. From biking the trails to paddling down the river, there’s something to suit every outdoor enthusiast.

The Conservancy’s calendar is packed with opportunities. Think breaking a sweat during an outdoor barre class, embarking on a Wolf River steam stroll, or wandering through a field of wildflowers to learn about the native species of the Wolf River Watershed.

Not only is Wolf River Conservancy an enjoyable place to unwind and enjoy nature, but it’s also the perfect place to learn about the importance of sustainability. A vital part of the Conservancy’s mission is to educate the community about the Wolf River and its value as a natural, educational, and recreational resource. Wolf River Conservancy is committed to providing educational programming to people of all ages, but especially to young people – the future stewards of our environment.

The Wolf River Conservancy was established as a nonprofit local land trust to protect the areas along the Wolf River as a public natural resource. Land trusts work with landowners and the community to conserve land by accepting donations of land, purchasing land, negotiating private voluntary conservation agreements on land, and stewarding conserved land into the future.

Ring Container Technologies is honored to be a long-time supporter of Wolf River Conservancy, working to protect and enhance the Wolf River and its watershed as a sustainable natural resource.
