Better Buildings is an initiative of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) designed to improve the lives of the American people by driving leadership in energy innovation.
Under the umbrella of Better Buildings is a program called Better Plants, which partners with leading manufacturers and water utilities to improve energy efficiency and competitiveness in the industrial sector. Ring Container Technologies is proud to be a new member of the Better Plants Program.
Driving energy savings can have a broad impact across the industrial sector, which leads to cost savings, greater resilience, a strengthened workforce, and increased global competitiveness. Through Better Plants, Ring is committed to reducing energy intensity by 20% by the year 2028.
To help us achieve this sustainability goal, Better Plants equips our team with a specified account representative who provides monthly support through technical advice, energy efficiency training, data analyzation, and up to seven training sessions per year that our plant employees can choose to attend.
Being a member of the Better Plants program allows us to partner with the DOE to keep sustainability top of mind. Learn more about the Better Plants program and how we plan to implement reduction goals here.
